Vanishing is impossible
Lasting is impossible
Being in two places at once is impossible
Speaking the entire truth is impossible
Instantly knowing Spanish is impossible
Living in the midst of ten thousand panes of glass is impossible
Being simultaneously masked and unmasked is impossible
Except in art
Art is the art of the possible.
From the Art of Possible

ya know...i was contemplatin writing a journal entry in my DA about art and being and artist and stuffs.
its a very..finicky kinda thing isnt it. This art business. So difficult to put yer finger on why it shud be there in yer life, and what you should do with it. I sound confuzzled, becuase that shubbynumz chickie said she was surprised that i was surprised that people liked me work. And tis true. I can't understand why they do. And don't know why its important that I understand. Odd, innit? :P
I think maybe we all underestimate just how much appreciation and admiration we get from others.
just think about the hundreds of thousands of art works you've seen; sure you've commented on some, but quite a lot you've loved but not uttered a peep about to the creator. So that amazing wonderousness is there for what s/he can create, they just don't know.
And you, sham, are pretty amazing with your brush swishing. Your sandwich wallpaper is easily my most favourite illustration of all time, from anyone, ever.
true story.
true story? Surely ye jesteth? really?
I am mighty flattered when ever anyone gifts me with a compliment conveying their admiration and affection towards my works. Sometimes I think they treat my art better than *I* do.
I hope one day I will make something solid and enduring :)
I'm beginning to write again (a secret journal lost in the millions of blogs). And its much more fun when no ones watching, and no one knows you. Although I'm still a bit skittish.
what are YOU up to mister man?
I look very forward to reading it. You started writing before bloggers did. That says something.
Me? Finishing exams just right now, so can't imagine there's a life beyond this.
and you?
